The Ton background stamp and Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers

I purchased my first background stamp from The Ton¬†recently after seeing it used a few different ways. With Mother’s Day not too far away I figured I could use this stamp a fair bit. After some experimenting, I came up with this first design

I encorporated some Ranger Red Tinsel Embossing Powder with the Zig Markers on Watercolour card stock and I was quite happy with the result.

The second was done with Stamendous White Embossing Powder and the Zig Markers. I didn’t have time to do anymore as I had to make dinner. I’ll have to see what else I can come up with when I have some more time.¬†

Lavinia Stamps, Distress Ink and the Gelli Plate

Recently, after extensive research and scouring the country, I bit the bullet and purchased a collection of gorgeous photopolymer clear stamps from Lavinia Stamps. Arriving from the UK, I opened my parcel to find just what I’d hoped for – beautifully detailed stamps of fairies and foliage. ¬†I have seen these stamps used with Distress and Versafine Ink on the Gelli Plate and the results are brilliant. I decided to give it a go and this is what I created. Please let me know what you think.
